We have an exciting vacancy for an Administration Assistant to join Ivanhoe School on a temporary basis. This role is term time only and working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Heads PA, you will be responsible for ensuring administrative processes and systems within the department are adhered to.

Being energetic, approachable and having the necessary IT skills to carry out numerous administrative tasks is essential. As this role will be supporting the departments within the school, managing workloads and working to deadlines is vital in ensuring the smooth running of the School. You will be supported in this role by an experienced Heads PA and be part of a friendly professional team.

The successful candidate would be qualified in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent level and have experience of administrative work. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a proactive, calm and positive manner is essential for this important position within the school.

Ivanhoe School | Premises Officer

We are looking to appoint a Premises Officer to join our successful Facilities team, working across the school to support our high standards and levels of achievement at Ivanhoe School.

The successful candidate will ideally have a high level of commitment and attention to detail. The role is essential in supporting all departments across school and ensuring our building remains safe and secure. Working with other premises officers, you will work a variety of shifts throughout the full calendar year to support all school activities and our external customers.

Countesthorpe Academy | SLiP Teacher of Science

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified teacher with experience of SEND who has a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners at key stage 3 and 4.

This role is to teach KS3 & GCSE Science to young people in small groups with a variety of learning needs. We will require you to teach in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

These young people are referred to us by local authorities and our partnership schools and will require a high level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey. If you are passionate, committed, and motivated and want to make a difference to the life chances of young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, then we would like to hear from you. The appointed person will manage Teaching Assistants and work collaboratively with the SLIP team, partnership schools, families and external agencies.
